I am a LPC in the State of Missouri, am Nationally Certified by the NBCC and am Internationally Certified as an Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). I have been practicing psychotherapy for nearly a decade and in that time I have worked in a variety of mental health settings including: community mental health, residential care for foster care youth, inpatient mental health, outpatient private practice and all levels of care for eating disorder and anxiety disorder services. I have worked for larger mental health hospitals, non-profit agencies and for a boutique residential eating disorder clinic. I am trained in several therapy models including CBT-E, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, CPT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and DBT. I am skilled in treating eating disorders, anxiety disorders, complex trauma/PTSD, familial conflict, attachment related issues, mood disorders and issues around grief. I also work with general day to day stressors and adjustment issues. I am competent providing individual, group, family and couples therapy. My mission as a therapist is to help the client peel back the layers of protection that have kept them from living their chosen life.
