I encapsulated a placenta recently and received the best compliment! I got a text form mama saying, "I'm not sure how else to describe it, but your capsules taste very clean. With my previous pregnancy, my capsules had a strange after taste." I did not prepare this mama's previous capsules but I do take pride in my extra efforts to make sure that everything is scoured and sanitary. :-)

I can identify with this. Pumping alone was always disappointing for me. This particular study found that women who used their hands as well as the pump expressed 48% more milk than those using just a pump and 2x more fat!! Obviously this isn't the case for everyone but if you have issues pumping it may bring some comfort to know.
