Recently, American House communities competed in a steps challenge and American House Lebanon came in 1st place! 🥇 An amazing group of residents decided to go one step further and compete in a county-wide walking and fitness challenge 👟 Not only were they the first senior living community to compete - logging 10,165 minutes - but the 15 residents took 2nd place! 🥈 Check out their blog to see how the walkers prepared for both challenges and find out the astounding number of steps that were taken:

The American House challenge is rolling along! The second week was all about a "Tropical Getaway" experience. The summer heat is no joke! 🥵 To , American House is staying !! 🧊 Our communities are competing in a friendly hydration challenge, highlighting a different flavor-infused water weekly. First up was "Berry Hydrated" in honor of National Blueberry Month. From presentation to participation, our team members and residents went all out! There wasn't a dry mouth in the House 😉😁

Education is important to us, so we’ll be hosting Back-to-School Backpack Drives! Join us in donating school supplies through September. We’ll fill backpacks and deliver to local schools to help kids gear up. We’re also giving back to our educators with our Work of Heart program’s lifetime discount on rent. Our Brainiacs class have been challenged for three weeks trying to figure out an unsolved murder mystery. The mystery was finally solved in our class today and what a shocking surprise to figure out who did it! They had to use their brains as a group to find the answers. We had a blast with this challenge and cannot wait for the next one to solve. 🕵️ 🔎

Ladies Luncheon out to Oakwood BBQ in Wildwood was a huge success. Just ask any of our ladies about all those racks of ribs on that table. No one left hungry. Great food, great service and best of all great company. ❤️

What a wonderful seminar on fraud prevention hosted by our local Wildwood Police Department. Our residents were able to follow up with questions on possible scams. American House staff would like to thank the police department for providing such a great seminar.
