Friday witnessed Active Day of Plains commemorating Harry Potter Day with an assortment of themed events. The Sorting Hat kicked off our day by designating our individual houses. We played quidditch, brewed personalized wishing potions, indulged in cupcakes and butter beer, visited the train station and eventually freed Dobby! Melinda skillfully converted our center into Hogwarts for the day.

Our Story

Active Day of Plains, the premier provider of adult day health services, is conveniently located in Plaza 315. Our professional staff and experienced caregivers provide an environment to make your loved one feel at home. As you enter our center you will find a bright, comfortable social area, a spacious activity area which includes a piano, activity board and plenty of seating. An additional room is available for members to engage in small group activities. Our daily programming involves, exercise, trivia games, reminiscing, bingo, crafts, and musical entertainment, just to name a few. In addition to our therapeutic recreational program, nursing services are available to meet individual’s medical needs daily. While visiting with us, our members are provided a well balanced nutritious lunch and a healthy afternoon snack.
