Sharing some sad news.
John F. Barnes, creator, mentor, teacher of Myofascial Release has passed away.
I feel so grateful to have been taught by him and have had the chance to treat alongside him at his Myofascial clinic.
His energy was so powerful. At his seminars one would just have such a reaction by the slightest touch of his hand. He was a lover of all beings. He had amazing stories to share. He was witty and could make us all laugh so hard. He had created such a phenomenal technique that could heal most issues in the body. I was so blown away by the effects that this work had on my clients that after 25 years of all the massage techniques I had been learning and practicing, I dropped them all to purely be a John Barnes Myofascial Release Therapist.
John, thank you for this gift you have given us. I promise to try to channel you throughout my sessions. And I promise to honor your work. Rest in peace.
