🌟 I Did It: 92.2 Pounds Lost, 53 Inches Gone, No Pills, Injections, or Surgery! 🌟

On November 18, 2024, I reached my weight loss goal: a total of 92.2 pounds gone and 53 inches melted off my 5'8" frame. I wasn’t ready to share this incredible milestone until now. Why? Because I wanted to take time to reflect on this journey and what it truly means to me.

🍂 𝗠𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟯 𝗖𝗼𝘇𝘆 & 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸! 🍲

As the weather cools down and life gets busier, it’s time to break out the slow cooker for some cozy meals that practically cook themselves! These recipes are perfect for those days when you don’t have time to spend in the kitchen AND they include tips to keep things healthy for weight loss. 🙌

1. 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘄 🥩🥕
Warm, comforting, and packed with tender veggies and juicy beef. Throw everything in the slow cooker, and let it simmer until it’s melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
🍃 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗽: Use lean cuts of beef (like sirloin or chuck roast) and load up on non-starchy veggies like carrots, celery, and mushrooms. Skim off any fat that rises to the top before serving!

2. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 & 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 🍗🍚
This creamy, protein-packed soup is like a warm hug in a bowl! Add your ingredients in the morning, and come home to a ready-to-eat dinner that’s perfect with some crusty bread on the side.
🍃 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗽: Swap out heavy cream for unsweetened almond milk or Greek yogurt to keep it creamy without the extra calories. Use skinless chicken breast to reduce fat, and add lots of leafy greens like spinach or kale for an extra fiber boost!

3. 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 🍎🐖

🥚 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝘀 & 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗹: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 🥚

It’s a common concern, but the link between eggs and cholesterol isn’t as straightforward as it seems! 🤔 While eggs do contain cholesterol, research shows that for most people, dietary cholesterol from eggs has a minimal impact on blood cholesterol levels. 🙌

In fact, your liver naturally produces cholesterol and adjusts when you eat more of it from foods like eggs. 🍳

For menopausal women, eggs are a fantastic source of high-quality protein, essential vitamins, and minerals that help with muscle maintenance and fat loss. Plus, they’re rich in vitamin D 🦴 (for bone health) and choline 🧠 (for brain function)!

💡 𝗧𝗶𝗽: Focus more on reducing saturated and trans fats (found in processed foods) than worrying about the cholesterol in eggs!

Remember, if you have a condition like familial hypercholesterolemia or elevated cholesterol levels, consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice. But for most women, one or two eggs a day can be a healthy part of your balanced diet. 🥗🍳
