May is Speech-Language-Hearing month and we want to take the opportunity to say how grateful we are for our AMAZING team of speech-language pathologists!

SLPs treat so much more than just speech! They can address language, voice, fluency/stuttering, social skills, feeding and swallowing, and cognition!

Meet Brian Adams – Owner & Occupational Therapist @ “I Can” Pediatric Therapies!

Brian has been helping kids reach their full potential since 2007! After earning his Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne College, he started “I Can” Pediatric Therapies in 2013 with a passion for serving children in Wilkes and across the region.

He loves connecting with kids and watching their progress each week. When he’s not at the clinic, Brian’s spending time with his wife Megan, their two kids (Sebastian & Evelyn) and their dog Winnie—or leading Scout Troop 336, playing sports, or fly fishing in the great outdoors!

Fun Fact: He can wiggle his ears!

Meet Anna Foster!
Lead Occupational Therapist @ “I Can” Pediatric Therapies

Anna has been a dedicated part of the “I Can” Pediatric Therapies team since November 2020. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne University and holds an undergraduate degree in Recreational Therapy.

As the lead occupational therapist, Anna is passionate about guiding her team and creating a supportive environment for both staff and the children they serve.

Anna is married to Andrew and absolutely loves being a mom to her son, William! When she’s not at work, you’ll find her traveling, crocheting adorable creations, or enjoying true crime documentaries.

“I love working with children and their families in order to help a child meet their fullest potential and set them up for a successful future,” Anna shares.

Fun Fact: She was a competitive dancer in high school and has even climbed a volcano!
