Today, we gather with heavy hearts yet grateful spirits, remembering a shepherd who walked among us with unwavering faith, boundless compassion, and a servant’s heart. Pastor William Souther was more than a leader—he was a friend, a mentor, and a living example of God’s love in action.
Through every sermon, every prayer, and every quiet moment of counsel, he reminded us that faith is not just spoken—it is lived. He celebrated our joys, carried our burdens, and stood beside us in life’s storms, always pointing us back to the hope we have in Christ.
Pastor William had a gift for seeing the best in people, even when we couldn’t see it ourselves. His laughter warmed our hearts, his wisdom guided our steps, his songs filled our souls, and his humility inspired us to serve others with the same grace he so freely gave.
Though his earthly journey has ended, his legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to shape our lives. We will miss his voice, but we will carry his message in our hearts: to love God deeply, to love others generously, and to walk humbly every day.
Rest in the arms of the Savior you so faithfully served, Pastor William. Your work here is done, but your light will never fade.
