A short practice inspired by Rumi:
Light a candle (or imagine doing so) and invite your inner wakefulness to be present.🕯️
Name one mindset or self-judgment that feels heavy or makes it hard to hear your deep inner wisdom.
Take a breath and thank the mindset or judgement for how it has tried to protect you.
Imagine laying it down, and quietly affirm:
“I release this mindset with love so I can hear the deeper truth within me.”
Sense the space that this releasing creates within you.
Breathe softly into that space without rushing to fill it. Spend a few moments here.
Quietly affirm:
“I choose to listen to the inner wakefulness that knows who I am.”
When you’re ready, gently blow out your candle.
