You may have seen this drug advertised. It's a 14 day pill pack to treat baby blues and postpartum depression. I did some digging and the active ingredient is synthesized Prostaglandin

Progesterone → Allopregnanolone → calming effect on brain (via GABA-A receptors)

The Placenta actually becomes the main source of Progesterone during pregnancy.
