How about alittle history lesson on Mother’s Day??📝🙋‍♀️📖👩‍🏫

In 1908, Anna Marcos decided to honor mothers…however Mothers’ Day (plural) was actually started in the 1870s by Julia Ward Howe to empower women to take back their power during war torn times. (Info borrow from HCR’s Substack article today)

This gentle reminder, that’s this day is not just another “Hallmark Holiday”. There’s meaning beyond a day for mothers to rest and be celebrated…that should be everyday!

How can we as women be empowered???

✨Spend time with other people that empower YOU
✨Lift each other up-especially women
✨Listen with your heart to the stories, hopes, dreams
✨Be of service in your community (this could be as simple as saying hello to a stranger at the coffee shop.)

We are strong, powerful beings…together we remember our worth and lift up together 💫

This is where we rely on daily practices. 🙏

These rituals that bring us to a calm, quiet space can be unique to each person. Some find yoga, dance, music, nature, art, meditation, reading, cooking, writing…the list goes on.

We’re here to help. We’ve added new yoga classes daily and we’re still offering stellar therapeutic massages. 💆‍♀️🧘🏽‍♂️✨💕
