✨ Thank you to all of the wonderful students & yoga teacher friends who came out to practice yoga at Spoke & Art today and for your generous donations to the Humane Society! 🐾💛 I’ll be posting a picture tomorrow when I drop everything off, so stay tuned — and keep an eye out for our next community events.

I’ll be offering another free community yoga class on the deck at Spoke & Art on Saturday, August 16 from 8:00–9:00 AM. There is an event posted with details.
We’ll be collecting optional donations to benefit Heritage Humane Society. Their current needs include:
🐾 Soft dog treats
🐾 Canned cat food (pâté style)
🐾 Dry cat food
🐾 Gently used blankets and towels

Donations are completely optional—the class is free and open to all!

After class, feel free to hang out, stroll the beautiful Virginia Capital Trail, grab a coffee or snack, and enjoy live music at noon.

This week, we move into Week 4 of the "Moving with Intention" series: Expand ✨—a theme that invites us to open up physically, mentally, and emotionally. Expect a flow that nurtures openness through deep twists, hip releases, and heart openers. Let’s create space where we breathe into new possibilities.🙏

One of my favorite reminders for this week—and a quotes from last week’s Ignite theme—are included below in case you missed it. I’ve been trying to make artwork for all of my quotes I make for students and save them to share/come back to when you need them.

Each week in all of my regular drop-in classes, we’ll explore suggested intentions with breathwork and asanas to match the weekly theme. We begin with week 1 Grounding, cultivating steadiness, presence, and connection.

Spring into Renewal with My New Schedule!

This month, we’ve been diving into weekly meditations—beginning with love and kindness metta meditation, moving through gratitude and letting go, and closing with a refreshing spring renewal meditation.

I’m also thrilled to share that my new spring schedule is now live on my website, featuring some exciting new classes with formats I am so passionate about. 🧘🏻‍♀️🥰

Exciting News! Starting next week, join me every Wednesday at 5:30 PM at Ironbound Gym for Yoga Sculpt! 💪✨

This class combines the best of yoga flow with strength-training elements to build endurance, flexibility, and muscle tone. Expect energizing sequences paired with light weights and small bursts of cardio, set to an upbeat playlist that’ll keep you moving and motivated. Perfect for anyone looking to deepen their practice and add a challenge to their routine.

I truly hope my talks this week inspired you to dig a little deeper into the Kleshas. We will continue to study the 5 blockages that prevent us from the path of enlightenment.

This week we dove into the first Klesha Avidya- incorrect perception or ignorance- I tend to lean more towards incorrect thinking . This can manifest when we start to identify ourselves with external things, looks, material things, job titles….it can manifest when we resist change.

We will continue the journey with the second Klesha asmita & dig deeper next week Full Circle Yoga + Pilates , James City County Parks & Recreation, Iron-Bound Gym and Body Balance Yoga & Fitness… we will learn ways to apply this on the mat and when we leave the practice room. I bought a very good book that I will share with you below in the comments. You can read along and study this on your own as well.

Stay tuned for my new fall schedule, which I will post in the next month. I’m going to be adding on and taking off some classes. I will be offering more yoga sculpt & vinyasa. 

As always, thank you for trusting in me to be your guide on your yoga journey. I wish you a week and full of love and light.

I love the teachers I teach with. 🫶🧘🏻‍♀️

We had an amazing time at our Body Balance Williamsburg summer social! Our incredible team of yoga teachers is growing strong roots together, fostering a community of love, support, and mindfulness.

Despite missing a few of our beloved teachers due to summer travels, they were missed, and we can’t wait to reunite and continue this beautiful journey.

We are grateful for this wonderful community and all the shared moments, laughter, and growth. Here’s to many more gatherings and stronger connections.

✨🎉 Exciting news & Big Announcement. I am beyond grateful and excited to share that I’m now officially representing as the official Yoga Ambassador for Williamsburg. After much anticipation, I can finally announce that I’ve signed a two-year contract that started June 1st.

✨My journey as a lululemon customer began in my 20s, and to eventually see my picture go up on their walls is truly surreal. I’m passionate about everything lululemon stands for and excited to bring community yoga & sound events alongside my fellow talented Ambassadors ( which I cannot reveal who they are at this time until they do.)

✨A heartfelt thank you to , , ,and the entire lululemon team for their belief in me. This happened so naturally and organically & it feels so amazing. Excited to be on this journey with lululemon and make a positive impact in the community over the next two years. And to my amazing students, friends, and Instagram followers, and employers your unwavering support means the world to me.

I like to call this meditation the just this meditation. You can do this at any time & anywhere when you need to get back to the present moment.
