Hi friends!
I know it's been awhile but a lot has been happening at the practice. We have some sad news. Our receptionist Trish has to leave us 😭😭.
Not to worry, we won't leave you guys hanging. We have two new part time ladies coming in who will boss up the joint. They're amazing and they're going to be so helpful. They're excited to get started and meet everyone. So be patient the next couple of weeks while they settle in.
Trish is going to miss everyone and will be sure to stop by sometimes!

Hump Daaaaaaaaay

Hi friends! We just wanted to post to thank everyone for being so awesome this week. We know it was a crazy one, what with the Doc being out and implementing the new software, but we are half way through!

We just want to remind everyone that we are starting to bring people back into the office. However, we are only doing a certain number of in office visits a day to keep it safe. If you are at risk please stay home and we will set you up for a phone visit. We know that you are excited to see us just as we are excited to see you. We want everyone to stay healthy though and we promise we will open up to full in office visits before you know it!

Today is the first day we are implementing our new software! It's very exciting!

Please be patient as we learn all the new things we are now able to do. There is a new Patient Portal coming soon! This will be able to give our patients all their information at their fingertips, plus stream line confirmation calls or messages. We will be sending out information via email when it's set up. Be on the look out!

Great news!!! 🙌🙌

We are starting to have a select number of in office visits, starting next week! Unfortunately, not everyone can have one because we have to make sure there is enough space in between each visit to keep everyone safe. If you are 65 or older, have pre existing health conditions and are at risk for COVID -19, Dr. Guminsky advises that you still have phone visits. Don't worry though! She said we should be back to full office capacity by July!

As a result of this though, we are putting out an SOS for masks. While patients are in the waiting room we ask that everyone wear a mask. We have some spare but not a lot and we want to make sure we have enough for anyone who may need one when they come in. If you make masks, or know someone who does, we ask for a small donation to get us through until we can order a whole bunch. If you have some you'd like to donate you can leave them by the door of the office, which is closed this week. Just know, we very grateful!

Good Morning and Happy Friday!🥳

Just to remind everyone, Dr. Guminsky and Melissa will be out of the office next week. Trish will be available to receive phone calls, however the office will be closed. Please make sure any prescriptions or lab orders you will need during that week have been called in. For everyone who called with requests this week, we have received your messages and are working hard to get everything done before the ladies leave. Please be patient with us.

We are also very excited because we are getting a total software upgrade at the office! While it creates a lot of moving parts right now, it will help streamline everything once it is installed. Unfortunately, this means Monday June 1st, we will need the whole day for training so we will be ready for our patients on Tuesday. Patients that are scheduled on that day will be receiving a call or email to reschedule their appt (not to worry we have spaces that week so you won't have to wait 😉)

Again, thank you for your patience. Our patients have a lot of...patience 😁(eh?) We do appreciate it. We cannot wait until we can see everyone in office again. We miss you guys!

Dr. Guminsky and Melissa will both be out of the office next week May 25 - May 29th. They will be back, starting Monday June 1st. An email was sent out this morning to our patients.

**If you have any refills that you will need while they are out, please call or email and let us know now so we can get those sent in.
**The office will be closed. If you have any emergencies during that time you will have to go to urgent care or the hospital.

**Trish will be working remotely and can set you up with appointments or take messages for Dr. Guminsky when she returns. She cannot make any refills or write any lab orders.

Haaaaaappppyyyy Monday y'all!

So begins another beautiful week in the great state of Virginia. With the phase one reopening of businesses around town, we just want to remind anyone who is still at risk for the Corona Virus to be careful 😷. Stay home unless you need to go out. If you do go out, wear a mask and social distance. Wash your hands frequently.

We are so excited that our local businesses can now start to open again! 🥰😁
