Public Notice: Interim Appointment – Surry District

Surry County is accepting letters of interest from qualified residents of the Surry District for consideration of an interim appointment to the Board of Supervisors.

This appointment will serve until a special election is held to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of William (Tim) Calhoun.

Applicants must be residents of the Surry District and qualified voters.

Letters of interest and resumes must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026.
