My inbox has been flooded with messages lately and I’m so glad so many of you are excited to get either:
1) on the Trim & Slim system for the first time
2) coming back to give this system a go
3) have been on the products for awhile and wanting to focus more on weight loss.
I love that Plexus has something for everyone and that gut health is at the root of every developed product.
For those asking me: “what exactly are you doing?” this post is for you-
#1-I do not miss a day!! Consistency is important. Every day you miss is like starting over again. This is Science, not sales!
#2- I start my day with coffee/cream/sugar/collagen. Hey! No judging! I’ll never give it up!😂. It’s my thing. You do you.
Mid morning I take my Slim hunger control-black cherry mixed with 1 scoop of Restore liver detox and 2 Balance. (Please don’t ask me if you can use microbiome slim or other hunger control flavors- people have tried and it does not yield the same results). I don’t know why.
#3- I eat lunch around 11-11:30pm and focus on eating protein first, carbs second. 35+g or more. Usually more. My goal is to get as close to 100g or more each day. More is better.
#4- I fast until dinner. We have been conditioned to think we need a snack in between meals or something sweet to drink but that messes with the recovery of the GLP-1 hormone. IF I decide I want an Active in the afternoon, I always time it to be 2-3 hours after lunch and always mix it with a hydrate. I’m finding I need this less and less and water is just fine. But it’s not bad to have once in a while. Again, listening to the cues.
#5- Eat a high protein dinner. Again, protein first, carbs second. Why protein first?? Because hormones respond to sequence, not calories. Protein triggers the GLP-1 hormone to begin secretion in the gut. “Food is coming, slow down, regulate appetite.” Carbs spike insulin and if they come in first inflammation is higher and cues are confused. Order matters. Again-Science.
I am done eating for the day after dinner.
Bedtime: 4 probio5, 4 biocleanse, 2 ease. Like clockwork.
When you begin to understand the hormone, you learn to treat it like a valuable asset to your health. No seed oils, no alcohol, fasting for recovery, and a good sleep at night.
The results have been amazing and I am not at all feeling like I’m missing out. I’ve barely touched a cookie, cake or Cadbury mini egg not because I’m “trying to be good”, but because they don’t even sound good.
