Behind the Counter Monday 💙
One of the bittersweet parts of being a teaching pharmacy is watching our students grow and then seeing their rotations come to an end.
This past week, we said goodbye to two of our VCU pharmacy students, Mya and Bella, as they completed their time with us at The Prescription Shoppe. They were an absolute joy to work with and quickly became part of our TPS Pharmily.
What made this experience even more special for me is that one of these amazing young ladies also happens to be my sorority sister. 💕💚 There is something incredibly rewarding about having the opportunity to mentor, encourage, and pour into the next generation of pharmacists.
Mya and Bella, thank you both for your hard work, professionalism, positive attitudes, and willingness to jump in wherever needed. We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited to see what the future holds for each of you.
While your rotation may be over, our support certainly is not. We look forward to continuing to provide mentorship, guidance, and encouragement as you continue your journey toward becoming pharmacists.
