WILLIAMSON — The Williamson High School Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the 2025 recipients of the Friend of the Pack Award.

The 2025 recipients are the late Jim Whitt, former voice of the Wolfpack, and longtime area coach Brian Haney.

WILLIAMSON — Over 600 runners from 25 different states flocked to the Tug Valley area over the weekend for the 26th running of the Hatfield McCoy Marathon.

The Williamson High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committe sends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Bobby Gene Oliver. Bobby passed a couple of days ago at his home in Florida. Bobby is a Wolfpack Hall of Famer who played in the early 1960s and was member of those great football teams of that era, including a state championship team. He was an All American and All-Stater.
