***Important Security Warning***

I recently experienced a security breach in my Meta account, which I'd like to share as a cautionary tale. A hacker gained access by impersonating someone who needed help getting back into their account. They even used a video call with a face waving hello to appear convincing, claiming their audio wasn't working to avoid voice identification. Fortunately, they didn't cause much harm beyond creating chaos.

If you receive any unusual or out-of-character messages from me, please be aware that it may not be me, and report it immediately. All of us must stay vigilant and protect our online security.

NOW... HOWEVER, DO NOT blame artificial intelligence for these incidents!! As I teach my AI students, a tool is just a tool until someone decides to use it for malicious purposes. It's safe when used responsibly by US for OUR benefit. This is the "Question Concerning Technology" that Martin Heidegger warned us about some 70 years ago. It's an example of how philosophy can provide valuable insights and guidance.

Please be cautious and protect your online accounts, and remember to keep your guard up! (Thanks, Martin!)
