I'm thinking of making Thursdays 'Recipe Thursdays". What do you think? What kind of recipes are you looking for? Here's two to start. I'm intrigued by the zucchini dip but not sure my son would enjoy it. I'm glad to have found gluten free ravioli at Wegman's finally! It is heavy in carbs of course so I try to make it more of a 'side' with a big salad and make sure I have protein in my sauce to help balance the meal.

I was browsing Pampered Chef's Spring Cleaning Tips post- because really- who has time to do it all in the Spring? I need to start early and continue all year to get it all done! I love this tip. Before I knew how to cook with stainless steel in an easier 'non-stick' way, I used to have to do this just to get the pans free from the stuff stuck to the bottom - but never really realized that adding KETCHUP could help with copper pots? I don't have any copper pots myself - do any of you? I'd love to hear if you have tried this or any other methods for shining up pots and pans?

Did you know today is National Kiss A Ginger Day? I didn't- so being a 'ginger' myself (though I feel there's more brown and grey there now instead of red), I just had to share. This day was created to support a more positive spin than its counterpart, Kiss a Ginger Day brings sweet kisses to redheads who may have once been teased for their hair color. I've been one of those redheads!

The red hair gene is recessive and requires two copies for it to present itself. Even then, there is no guarantee it will. Here's a late morning check-in : How are YOU today? I had a nice relaxing weekend with my husband celebrating his birthday. Time together, spaghetti pie, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, a funny movie, church, coffee out at a local shop were some of this weekend's activities. Now it's back to the grind with Monday morning tasks, household chores, homeschooling, menu planning and more. What's going on with you?
