AIDS Resource Our non-profit organization provides HIV prevention, testing, education, and primary care services.

AIDS Resource provides culturally sensitive support to individuals affected by and living with HIV by offering case management, confidential testing, prevention services, and evidence-based education. We opened AR Health, a healthcare clinic that provides high-quality medical care to individuals living with HIV and members of the LGBTQ+ community. We serve Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Lycoming, McKean, Snyder, Union, and Potter counties, with offices in Williamsport and State College.

We provide HIV care, sexual health services, and support for the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

When care is affirming, accessible, and judgment-free, people are more likely to seek it, stay in care, and stay healthy. That’s how stronger communities are built.

The AstraZeneca Foundation's six Creating Health Access for Next Generation Equity (CHANGE) grant awardees are redefining how care is delivered across their communities. Through community-driven approaches, tailored health education and patient-centered care, these organizations are breaking down barriers to healthcare.

People are met where they are — in barbershops, at community events and in neighborhoods through mobile clinics, microsites and street medicine programming — ensuring healthcare reaches more of those who need it. By integrating local voices into every aspect of their work, these nonprofits are driving meaningful changes with the power to transform lives.

Ashley visits our office every three months and always knows she can get free menstrual hygiene products. During her latest visit, she shared a story that resonated with us. She was curious about menstrual cups but didn’t try them because of the high cost. When she found out AIDS Resource offers them for free, she decided to try one.

She loved it so much that it became her favorite period product. Plus, it aligns with her “save the planet” values by producing less waste. Practical, eco-friendly, and accessible.

We offer free pads, tampons, and menstrual cups to residents in Pennsylvania. Every three months, you can pick up:

- Two packages of tampons, two packages of pads, or one of each.
- A menstrual cup.

You don't need to be a client or patient. Just visit us during regular hours and let our staff know what you need.

Wishing you a wonderful birthday, Jim! Here's to a day of fun and good vibes.

Our Story

AIDS Resource is a non-profit organization that provides free support services for people living with HIV or AIDS, in addition to providing free HIV and STI testing. Our Williamsport office hosts a free monthly PrEP clinic. Prevention and education programs are free available to the public, as are prevention tools. We serve Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Snyder and Union counties with offices in Williamsport and State College.

AIDS Resource began in 1988 as Williamsport’s response to the AIDS pandemic. The founders wanted to help those who were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and help prevent the spread of the disease.
