Homewood Living Frederick Homewood Living Federick is a nonprofit life plan community for seniors in Frederick, Maryland.

Homewood at Williamsport, the original Homewood community, is nestled on 28 beautifully landscaped acres near Hagerstown, Maryland. Resident's enjoy the stability of this long-established community with mature trees and plantings and all the warmth and charm of Western Maryland. Our well-appointed Community Center features a chapel/multipurpose room, resident lounge and convenience store along with a dining room, library and other common areas. Residents also have access to the fitness center, indoor pool and hot tub, computer lab, outdoor gardening plots and walking trail. The community includes:

Independent Living Cottages and Apartments
Assisted Living Suites
Health Care Center and Canterbury Rehabilitation.

Meadows residents were treated to the Black Tie 'Glitz n' Glam Gala' in celebration of the holidays.

Residents donned their black ties and boas and watched as the Fred Astaire Dance Studios professionals performed traditional waltzes and mambas.

Residents then went to the Chapel and were given a red-carpet welcome by the Activities team. Lunch was catered by the Carriage House in Emmitsburg. A harpist played while residents ate their meal.

Each resident received a gift bag, and some won raffle prizes.

Residents had a wonderful evening on the Bolling Trail surrounded by sparkling lights, festive music, a cozy bonfire, and delicious food and drinks. It was truly a night filled with fun, fellowship, and holiday cheer—a beautiful way to celebrate the season together!

🎄✨ The Sounds of Christmas at Homewood Living Frederick! ✨🎄
Last night, we were blessed with an unforgettable holiday celebration featuring the internationally acclaimed Voices of Lee from Lee University! 🎶
Guests enjoyed carriage rides, live music, and delicious holiday treats, all while soaking in the joy and spirit of the season. The Voices of Lee captivated everyone with their exquisite a ca****la harmonies—truly the highlight of our holiday season!
🎤 Directed by Danny Murray, who has led the group for 31 years, these talented students perform over 100 times each year while balancing their studies. Don’t miss their Sounds of Christmas special airing on TBN December 14!
We are so grateful to our residents, families, and staff for making this evening magical. 💫 This event reflects Homewood’s commitment to enriching lives and creating meaningful connections.

Homewood Living Frederick Gives Back This Thanksgiving! 🦃✨

We are excited to have partnered with Rock Creek School and Frederick County to distribute 50 complete Thanksgiving meal kits to families in need throughout the local school system.
This effort was part of the Homewood Cares initiative and our inaugural outreach, Grateful Hearts Thanksgiving Share. Each kit included dry goods, a frozen turkey, and a pumpkin pie—because everyone deserves a warm, joyful holiday meal.

“This collaboration is a wonderful example of what can happen when community partners come together to care for those in need,” said Julie Norris, Activities Director at Homewood Living Frederick.

Leadership in Action: Living Our Core Values

We recently brought together leaders from all five Homewood Life Plan Communities for an inspiring workshop on living our core values every day.

Thanks to Dr. Prince Samuel, CEO Thad Rothrock, and VP of HR Jennifer Childs for guiding us through meaningful discussions on how our values strengthen teams, enrich resident experiences, and fulfill our mission.
