Duane “Duke” Harold Bower, 76, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on May 22, 2026, at The Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born on October 26, 1949, in Erie, Duke was the son of the late Harold and Shirley Bower. He shared 44 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Joyce Getchen Bower, whose companionship and devotion were a central part of his life.

Allen Dale Kaizer, 71, of Williamsport PA, formerly of Reynoldsville, died unexpectedly April 23, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport.

He was born November 3, 1954 in DuBois PA to Daniel and Charlotte (Ferringer) Kaizer. He married Ann Marie Stahlman August 3, 1985.

John W. McDermott, II, 76, of South Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Haven Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lock Haven. John and his wife the former Christine M. Bluhm were married on December 18, 1971 and celebrated 54 years of marriage.

He was born on August 7, 1949 in Williamsport and was the son of John W. and Arlene Hill McDermott.
