About Me

My journey so far, has taken me from one end of the United States to the other, and some spots around the globe. I’ve been blessed to know and live among many different groups of people, from varied racial, socio-economic, and cultural distinctions. These past decades have clarified for me my connection to my fellow human and my purpose to help.

Leaving nearly 30 years experience as my corporate self, I found my calling in psychotherapy and helping people through mental health counseling. I have a bachelors degree (BA) in psychology, a masters degree (MA) in counseling, am a (NCC) nationally certified counselor, and am a (LPC) license professional counselor in Pennsylvania.

I view therapy as a journey. It is a process of joining together and traveling along side one another towards your goals. My specialty is supporting those who have been exposed to trauma to connect with healing. I also work with managing symptoms of depression and anxiety, OCD. I have extensive experience supporting families in transition and walking clients through such life events as marriage, separation, divorce, and death. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

A goal of my journey, is to address the stigma that still is present when a person makes the choice to seek mental health treatment. My hope is to normalize mental health treatment. No different than a trip to your dentist, doctor, or hairdresser. This page is a safe place for current and perspective clients and colleagues to sharing what works for you and encouraging others in their journeys. I believe there is great beauty and value in our differences, however, we are all joined in being human and we are all in need of good mental health and wellness.
