Scranton Pavilion Residential Reentry Center

For the sixth consecutive month, Scranton Pavilion has earned the award for reducing recidivism. The state monitors residents who have successfully completed the program and tracks their rates of reoffending. Each month, Scranton Pavilion's average recidivism rate from the previous year is calculated, and for every month we surpass that rate, we receive the award.

Congratulations to all of the staff for the hard work and dedication to our clients in helping them continue to be successful when they go home!

Conewago Pottsville now partners with Schuylkill Conservation District to provide environmental education to our clients! Conewago Pottsville started an environmental club where our clients will get onsite training as well as in nature. The educators of the Schuylkill Conservation District understand that recovery is about healing and nature offers a calm and supportive environment for that process. Just as the seasons change, recovery teaches us that new beginnings are always possible!

About Us

Seeing the Need

Firetree, Ltd. was formed in 1991 as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation designed to provide quality transitional services to individuals associated with the criminal justice system. Statistically, chemical abuse is an indirect or direct cause of criminal behavior in approximately 90 % of the prison population; however, a minimal number of offenders were receiving substance abuse treatment. Firetree, Ltd. developed the belief and the mission that drug and alcohol treatment is essential to effect change in the criminal offender. It wasn’t long before serving those who are chemically dependent but not yet involved in the criminal justice system was recognized as yet another area of need.
