Thursday August 28, we celebrated the life of Ruth Leroy.

Ruth lived with us for the last couple years and went home to be with the Lord on June 1st of this year. Thursday would have been her 101st birthday on Earth, but instead she spent her 1st birthday in Heaven.

Michael opened up the afternoon with a nice prayer and service for Ruth. We all shared memories of her, along with cookies & cappuccino (which was her favorite!)

Thank you to everyone who joined us in remembering Ruth. Thank you to those who shared memories, shed tears, and gave hugs.

We miss you Ruth.

Although we didn't do much, we did spend Labor Day coloring :)

And we had a nice cook out too!

***MEET THE TEAM MONDAY***

Whoop Whoop! We brought back out Meet The Team Monday!

This week we want to introduce to you Danielle and Cookie.

Danielle has been with us for about 4 months now, almost as long as she has been working in healthcare. Cookie is going on 4 months with us as well.

On the weekends you can find Danielle and Cookie hanging out at home with their boy Bryce. And they love going to the beach!

Danielle has 6 kids between the ages of 22 and 10.

Danielle likes Pasta the best, but Cookie prefers anything.

Their favorite part of the job are their residents. Cookie loves getting all the cuddles during the day. And the crumbs that fall aren't so bad either.

When growing up, Danielle remembers skating with her friends every weekend. She would love to have the power of invisibility.

Some career advice Danielle has to share with us, is "stay positive, no matter the cost." She would also like us all to remember that everyone is beautiful, stay humble and always be yourself.

Danielle has a knock-knock joke...

Sherri, Anna, and Carol decided it was a great day to be triplets!

Julie was working hard on our puzzle.

Go Tigers!

Last Thursday we were able to enjoy some Detroit Tigers time!
No, no, they didn't come and see us...but we had the next best visitor, Todd Walters!

Todd is a Detroit Tigers enthusiast who travels around teaching all he knows!

Thank you Todd for coming out and sharing the Tigers with us!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!!!

Divine Living Centers of Williamston would like to thank Matt from Optimal Care Hospice for coming out and hosting our ice cream social today!

Everyone enjoyed the ice cream and chit chat, making memories is so sweet!

Diving Living Centers of Williamston celebrated National Water Balloon Day on August 1, but with a little bit of a twist... sponges and spray bottles!

We had such a blast playing on the deck. Everyone enjoyed the sponges soaked in water that they could throw and wring out on their friends.

Adena's idea of the sq**rt bottles, was a total hit too!

Such a fun way to cool off on a nice summery day.

Here are Divine Living Centers of Williamston, we have been having so much fun!

Whether it is having popsicle with friends, walking down the hall with your best friend, relaxing with a word search book, enjoying a nap in the living room, or a selfie with Anna, we are always on the move!
