Today is National Employee Appreciation Day and we would love to take a moment to show our appreciation for all of our wonderful employees! Without the hard work, dedication, and loyalty of our employees, we would not be where we are today.

From the water, street, and park departments, to the administration department, to the police and fire departments, the Town of Williamston is truly blessed with some of the most wonderful employees! Thank you to each and every one of you!

Junk in Your Trunk Yard Sale 🛍️
On March 21st, Envision Williamston will be hosting their bi-annual Junk in Your Trunk Yard Sale in Mineral Spring Park! They are currently selling $10 spots for those wishing to sell at Town Hall and online! The park will open at 7am for sellers to set up and will open at 8am for shoppers!

We can't wait to see you all at the Spring Junk in Your Trunk Yard Sale soon! ...And remember, the park is full of things to enjoy, even if there isn't an event going on - so get outside and have some fun in Williamston! ✨

🌟 Great News, Williamston! 🌟

Phase 2 of our trail project behind the Fire Department is now officially OPEN!

We still have a bit of landscaping to do but it is way too pretty of a day to stay inside. Get out, take a walk, bring the family, and enjoy the fresh air. This is another step forward in making our community spaces more inviting, more usable, and more enjoyable for everyone.

We’re excited to see folks out there making memories and taking advantage of it. As always, we appreciate your continued support as we keep moving Williamston forward!

Williamston Residents, I’m asking for your help. 💙💧

As your Mayor, I’m always looking for ways to strengthen our town and protect our future. Right now, the Town of Williamston is applying for a grant to replace aging water lines in parts of our community. These upgrades are so important to ensuring safe, reliable water service for your homes and for future generations.

To qualify for this funding, we must complete a Local Income Survey within the project area. If you live on one of the following streets, you will receive a letter and survey in the mail that needs to be completed and returned by March 6, 2026:
• Anderson Street
• Broad Street
• Gossett Drive
• Gossett Street
• Lander Street
• Prince Street

I know everyone is busy, but your participation truly makes a difference. The results of this survey will help us secure funding that reduces costs for the town and helps keep water rates as low as possible for all of us.

You can return your completed survey by:
• Dropping it off during business hours
• Using the secure drop box at Town Hall after hours
• Calling 864-847-7473 to arrange pickup if needed

Great news, Williamston! 🥏🌲

Williamston’s very own Disc Golf Course is officially OPEN!

This is a soft opening, so there are still a few finishing touches underway. We’ve got hole signage coming soon (so you’ll know exactly where each hole begins and ends), lighting contractors installing outdoor lights, and concrete contractors finishing the last section of connecting trail.

In the meantime, you can download the UDisc app to map out each hole, check distances, and see par information. It’s a great tool to help you navigate the course while we wrap up the final details.

A couple of important reminders:
• Please avoid all contractors and equipment.
• Stay off any fresh concrete.
• Be patient as we complete these last improvements.

This course is something special — set in a beautiful natural area with outstanding layout and design. We’re excited to see our community (and visitors!) enjoying it.
