Summer Safety Tips for Seniors 💦
Keeping cool in the heat is essential—especially for older adults. Here are a few easy ways to stay safe and comfortable all summer long:
🥗 Drink water & eat fresh, hydrating foods
🧴 Apply sunscreen to prevent sunburn
🌬️ Stay cool indoors or in air-conditioned places
🚿 Take cool showers or baths
🧊 Place a cold washcloth on the back of your neck
🕶️ Wear light-colored clothing & sunglasses
🌤️ Avoid the sun between 10 AM and 3 PM
💤 Rest often—especially during hot hours
