                                        This weekend, Jim and I visited my son and daughter-in-law in Las Vegas...
It amazes me how fast this city changes...
It seems like every time we're here, there's something brand new in place of something old...
Of course, they have to do this, in order to keep up with the 40+ million visitors a year!
But I think this says a lot about marketing - even on a smaller scale...
Now, obviously you and I don't own big casinos, or restaurants, or Elvis-themed wedding chapels...
but there is a lesson that can be taken from the fact that the businesses here, are constantly...
In Motion.
They're always finding ways to cater to old customers to bring them back, and new customers to bring them in...
New shows... 
New attractions... 
New restaurants... 
New entertainment...
And if you want to have a successful private pay practice...
You should be doing this too...
Ok - I know - it sounds kinda strange... 
But here's what I mean...
You should always be looking for new ways to provide additional VALUE -..to current referral sources and clients, and to new ones...
Groups, info sessions, newsletter, even just reaching out to a past referral source to say "what can I help you with?"
All of these add value to a relationship...
And when you do things like this, it makes people WANT to work with you...
Now, I know - this can sound daunting at first...
But it's really not hard to do - especially when you have a system in place...
When I was starting out, I had no systems in place in my practice - so I had to go at this the hard way
Figuring things out through trial and error (and LOTS of mistakes!)
But, when things finally started to "click" - And I figured out some easy but powerful ways to add VALUE to the people who could send me new clients...
My book started filling up in very short order!
And once I had it all dialed in, I started teaching others how to do it too...
