It is official! We were presented with the Distinguished Clinical Service Award on Friday at the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association and I could not be more proud. It is the first time this award was ever given to a private practice and exemplfies the dedication of our staff to our patients and the Western New York Community. They are truly the heroes in this story, and given the past year, they have sacrificed themselves in so many ways. Thank you to NYSSLHA for giving us this honor!

Congratulations to our dear friend and colleague Dr. Kim Tillery for her belated recognition as the 2020 awardee for Honors of the Association from the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association. This, the highest award of the Association is given to members of the Association who have distinguished themselves as leaders of the professions of Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology and/or in the discipline
of Communication Sciences and Disorders on a broad and continuing basis. We can think of no one who deserves it more. CONGRATULATIONS DR. TILLERY!

It is with such great pride that I can announce that our company has been selected to receive the Distinguished Clinical Service Program award for 2021 by the New York State Speech, Language, Hearing Association. The description of the award is as follows:
"Awarded to clinical service programs that have contributed significantly and substantially to the clinical care of communicatively impaired individuals on a continuing basis. Criteria for this award may include, but are not limited to, quality of service delivery, innovative programming of services, outreach to the community, provision of a research ethic within clinical service, application of modern technology to service delivery, and integration of new research findings into clinical care".
This has come as a complete surprise and we are so grateful. To put this in perspective, I don’t believe that this award has been given to any other private practice in the history of the New York State Speech, Language, Hearing Association. This is a such a huge honor that I find it hard to put into words.
What I can tell you is that this would not be possible without our fantastic staff-from the secretaries to the teachers, therapists and audiologists! YOU are the face of Diversified and through your dedication to our patients in the many programs and venues that we serve, you have shined above the rest! I am so incredibly proud of all of you. Thank you New York State Speech, Language, Hearing Association! (NYSSLHA).
