Your Story Could Be in My Book! 📕

I’m creating a special coffee table book filled with my paintings, 🖌️the stories behind them, and YOUR testimonials about how your life has been impacted, hopefully in a positive way, by animals.

The book is titled Ones Who Chose Us: A Tapestry of Hope and will share real-life stories of how animals change and sometimes save the lives of the people who love them. 🐴🐶🐱

💛 The heart of the book is simple: rescue works both ways. These stories show that love, patience, and compassion have the power to transform not only the lives of animals, but the hearts of the humans who care for them. 💛

🎃👻 Haunted HILL Halloween Bash! 👻🎃

It was a Haunted HILL weekend at Harris Hill as we celebrated our 2nd Annual Halloween Bash! Residents, families, and friends joined in for trick-or-treating, spooky fun, and lots of sweet treats. The highlight of the day was a special visit from Lilly the Mini Horse, who came dressed as a beautiful butterfly! 🦋🐴

We also crowned our new Scarecrow-Ette, congratulations to “Cheryl Crow,” submitted by Paul S.! What a frightfully fun way to celebrate Halloween at the Hill! 🎉🕸️

We're indulging in some sweet treats today here at Harris Hill, courtesy of our Assistant Director of Activities! She showed us how to shape cupcakes into boo-tiful spooky shapes perfect for the season, and led us in decorating the spooky sweets with icing & candy corn for the final touches 💙🎃🧁
