When Belotero and Radiesse are combined and placed directly on bone, the behavior of each filler is driven by their fundamentally different rheology, composition, and tissue interactions. We can actually separate the products after injection with firm targeted pressure. This is not true physical extrusion, but rather selective redistribution based on viscoelastic differences.

1. Material properties drive separation
2. Supraperiosteal placement favors Radiesse anchoring
3. Firm pressure facilitates HA redistribution
4. Belotero integrates into surrounding soft tissue
5. Functional outcome: structure + hydration

The result is:
- More natural contouring
- Reduced palpability
- Improved overlying skin quality
- A smoother transition between bone-based support and superficial soft tissue

Belotero and Radiesse are not chemically bound, so when mixed and injected supraperiosteally, their differing rheologic properties allow them to function independently. Radiesse anchors deeply on bone providing structure, while firm pressure encourages the lower-viscosity Belotero to redistribute outward along tissue planes. This allows Belotero to integrate into surrounding soft tissue, delivering hydration and surface refinement while Radiesse maintains projection and support.
