I didn’t create trauma-informed coaching because it was trendy. I created it because I lived it.

For most of my life, I did everything on my own.

I was the strong one. The capable one.
The one who didn’t need help.

Hyper-independence looked good on me.

It made me successful. Productive. Reliable.
But what it also made me… was exhausted.

Because hyper-independence isn’t just strength.
It’s often a trauma response.

It’s what happens when your nervous system learns
“it’s safer if I handle everything myself.”
“It’s safer if I don’t need anyone.”
“It’s safer if I stay in control.”

And for a while, that strategy works. Until it doesn’t.

Until your body is burnt out.
Until you feel alone even in a room full of people.
Until achieving more doesn’t actually feel like peace.

Everything began to shift when I got support. When I hired my own coach. When I allowed myself to be held instead of always holding everyone else.

Receiving support didn’t make me weaker. It regulated my nervous system. It expanded my capacity. It changed my life.

That’s why I do this work the way I do it.
Trauma-informed. Nervous-system aware. Deeply safe.

Because you don’t need to stop being strong.

Your nervous system shifts out of survival mode.
Cortisol lowers.

Your body receives the message: I’m safe right now.

And when your body feels safe, healing, clarity, and resilience become possible.

This is why gratitude isn’t about bypassing pain or “staying positive.”
