Hi! My name is Latifa, a Vinyasa teacher certified through YONO—a space that’s felt like home and helped shape my love for creative, feel-good movement. My classes are infused with fun tunes, thoughtful transitions, and just the right amount of challenge. Inspired by yoga philosophy, I love sharing deeper insights through movement, helping you connect with your body, breath, and self. Come ready to move, groove, and leave feeling grounded.

Michelle guides our Thursday morning Gentle Yoga class with a beautiful blend of personalized style and tradition. Her unique transitions and thoughtful sequencing create an experience that leaves you feeling lighter in mood, body, and spirit.

Her uplifting energy, clear voice, and supportive cueing make every class approachable and deeply restorative. Beyond the mat, Michelle takes time before and after class to connect with students, cultivating a warm and welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable and cared for.

"Michelle lives a life dedicate to health and wellness and is sharing it with the world through her love of yoga. With over 500 hours of in-person education she has been a full time yoga teacher since 2016, teaching more than 4,500 hours of studio classes. Her classes connect a uniquely articulate sense of body awareness, a sense of adventure, and a sprinkle of humor into the yoga practice. Specializing in adapting yoga and meditation to suit all, Michelle works each week with a wide variety of humans from elite athletes and advanced yogis to cancer patients and stroke survivors. Her classes are a woven blend of breath and body movement, exploration of spirituality and a deep understanding of anatomy. Every class she leads is unique, with offerings of hands on assists, curated playlists and mesh of modern/traditional styles of yoga."

She was the very first member of the YONO team, and from day one she has remained a dedicated and central part of our community.
As a yoga teacher, Sound Healer, Reiki master, Studio Manager, Events Coordinator and YTT Training Director, she wears many hats with grace and heart. Her childlike energy blends beautifully with the comforting wisdom she shares, creating a space that feels both uplifting and deeply grounding. Through her expertise in healing sounds, she has cultivated a devoted following and continues to touch countless lives with her gifts.

Yoga Instructor, Reiki, Sound healing, Children’s Book Author
"I was completely blown away and transformed after attending my first Buti™ Yoga class. I knew this was something I was meant to share, so naturally I completed my Buti™ and Hot Buti™ certification.
I hold a BS in Medical Technology from Florida Atlantic University. Being a science major, I must know the hows and the whys, soooo, to deepen my practice, I decided to pursue a 500-hour yoga teacher training.
Teaching Yoga led to additional certifications in Vibrational Sound Healing, Reiki, Group Fitness, and a desire to help people heal.
“Buti” means a cure to something that has been kept hidden. It’s time to release it! My greatest joy comes when I see a new student’s face after class and know they have been changed just as I was on that day so long ago. I love people and want to help them find their inner fire.
