We were able to help Student Doctor Covington check off the phlebotomy box today thanks to our amazing Nurse Megan and one of our awesome clients 🤗 Thank you to everyone that allowed him to participate in your care this week. It’s never too early to expose them to Direct Primary Care 😉
We look forward to him rotating with us again.

Nurse Megan likes to start her day tending to her horses, leaving poor Dr Eller to fend for herself in the early morning 😢 Luckily she still got those ICU nursing skills to fallback on, and saved this client a trip to Labcorp.

Another DPC win 🥇🤗🎉 It was a long 4 weeks for this little guy, but he did great! Love being able to take care of these simple fractures for my patients and avoiding the referral. Best part, NO EXTRA FEES! Fracture management is included in our monthly DPC membership.

We had a special guest at Healthy Self DPC yesterday. Dr Eller’s German shepherd, Xena, had a vet appointment next door at Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center of Willis and afterwards she came over for a PEMF treatment with Nurse Megan. Xena Bear turns 9 this month, and her hip joints are starting to show her age.
She doesn’t have patience for OMT adjustments, but she loves Megan and her PEMF machine.

Fun fact: Nurse Megan is certified in human and animal PEMF, and has her fair share of human, canine, and equine clients🤗 Her PEMF machine is top of the line, offering 2 treatments simultaneously to cut treatment time in half, which comes in handy for our impatient doggies and busy humans 😁

Before deciding to become a family physician Dr Eller went to medical school initially to be a plastic surgeon…. However she realized she enjoyed sleeping and having time with her family 😅. She still enjoys a good laceration repair or cyst removal though!
