Stress has a way of settling into our bodies without us noticing. Gently unclench your jaw, relax your shoulders, and take a deep breath. Small moments of care throughout the day matter.

This time of year can be incredibly difficult for many. Mental health crises tend to increase during the holidays due to added stress, financial pressure, feelings of isolation, and the weight of expectations.

At 1:00AM on Thanksgiving weekend , one of our troopers encountered a situation where a person was experiencing a severe mental health crisis on a highway overpass. Thanks to quick action from the trooper and a passing motorist, the individual was safely pulled away from danger and connected with immediate care.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. You are not a burden. You are not alone.
📞 988 is available 24/7 for mental health support, su***de prevention, and crisis intervention.

As we move through the holiday season, check in on your friends, family, and coworkers. A simple conversation may be the lifeline someone needs.
