Hello Everyone! We wanted to share some updates with you all!

➡️My maternity leave is anticipated to start Monday, February 5th and I will plan to return April/May (exact dates TBD). We will keep you as updated as possible in these next few weeks as we get closer to having some exact dates.

➡️Dr. Alyssa’s Schedule: My schedule will remain the same until my maternity leave. If you’d like to schedule an appointment before I take my leave, I encourage you to schedule sooner than later.

➡️Coverage: Dr. John will be covering my patients while I’m on leave. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. John and know he will take incredible care of you all!

➡️Hours: Our office will prioritize Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday treatment days and will extend hours into Thursdays if need be. Please reach out directly to Lauren if you have any scheduling questions: contact@woodhavenhealth.com.

I just wanted to say thank you to all our incredible patients. You have been so encouraging and supportive throughout the duration of my pregnancy and it’s been such a wonderful experience with a great community. I will miss you all so much while I’m out, but I do plan on making some appearances with the little one! Stay tuned for that!

❄️This holiday season, Woodhaven Health is teaming up again with Lund in holiday gift giving!

❄️Lund Family Center helps empower families to break cycles of poverty, addiction and abuse by means of education, treatment, family support and adoption. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage in the community and give back!

❄️Lund has provided our office with snowflake ornaments to hang on our holiday tree. Each snowflake lists the wants, needs and demographic information for a community member. If you would like to participate, please stop into the office and choose a snowflake. By doing so, you agree to purchase and return the items listed. We ask to leave gifts unwrapped and to be dropped off at the office no later than Friday December 15th.

SEEKING CHIROPRACTOR TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE

Woodhaven Health, located in Williston, VT, seeks an energetic, focused, patient-oriented chiropractor to cover Dr. Alyssa Strassel’s maternity leave from February 2024 to April 2024. This temporary position will have the potential to transition to an associateship opportunity with the right candidate. Woodhaven Health is primarily a referral-based practice with a well-respected reputation within the patient and practice community. Dr. Alyssa specializes in prenatal and postpartum care so our ideal candidate is comfortable and passionate about this population as well.

-Experience with Pregnancy and Pediatric populations
-Proficient in Diversified, Drop and Activator Technique
-Well-versed in Soft Tissue Manual Therapy techniques as well as Exercise Rehab Techniques
-Preferably Webster Technique certified
-Ability to multitask, excellent communicator and efficient in providing patient care
-Available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (flexible schedule will be available to accommodate)

Must have the following:

-VT Chiropractic License and Malpractice
-In network with the following insurance companies: BCBS, CBA Blue, Cigna and MVP
