Team FCSS brought the muscle to Oktoberfest at Great Northern Events this past weekend - sponsoring the legendary Stein Hold competition!🍺💪
From shaking arms to roaring crowds, it was pure grit and good fun. At FCSS we believe strength isn't just built in the gym - it's built in community. When the stein gets heavy, the people beside you lift you higher.

Allow us to introduce you to Andrew "Vanilla Wafer" Jacobs

• Comp Placings: NDSM II - 1st place Novice, The Berserker Cup 2023- 1st place SHW Open, Massenomics LHLE Classic II & III - 2nd place SHW Open
• Fun Fact: When he's not throwing around heavy weights he's baking delicious treats for friends and family

Which is right for you?

● Composition: EAAs (Essential Amino Acids) include all nine essential amino acids that your body cannot produce on its own. BCAAs (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) are a subset of EAAs, consisting of only three amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, and valine.

● Role in Muscle Protein Synthesis: EAAs are generally more effective at promoting overall muscle protein synthesis (the process of building and repairing muscle tissue) because they provide a complete range of amino acids required for this process. BCAAs, particularly leucine, play a role in initiating muscle protein synthesis, but they cannot sustain the process without the presence of EAAs.

● Overall Benefits and Application: EAAs offer a broader range of benefits beyond muscle protein synthesis, including supporting various bodily functions like hormone regulation, neurotransmitter production, immune function, and overall metabolism. •Mitch had a tear in his esophagus and he ended up in the emergency room in AZ
•Mitch rallied back and competed at the Arnold 3 weeks later
•Andy Njos experienced the Arnold for the first time and hooked us up with amazing seats
•We got to reconnect with a lot of friends
•The gym moved to its current location and was fully running in one week (thank you everybody who helped!)
•Mitch and Nathan competed in Finland together as Team USA
•We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary
•We said goodbye to our 11yr old fur baby, Clyde
•We said hello to another fur baby, Flint, 6 months later
