Thinking about Whitening?
Sometimes, brushing your teeth isn’t enough to remove stains caused by the drinks you consume. Beverages like coffee, tea, wine, and soda can cause stubborn stains that can't be removed with regular brushing. Our whitening treatments at Williston Dental & Implant can brighten your smile by several shades. Unlike over-the-counter products, professional whitening is faster, more effective, and tailored to your needs. Sometimes it is as simple as getting a cleaning and having the hygienist use the Air Polisher during your hygiene visit!

Considering Implants?
Missing teeth can have a domino effect on your health. When even one tooth is lost, the surrounding teeth can shift, your bite alignment can change, and bone loss in the jaw may begin. Over time, this can affect not only your smile but also your ability to chew, speak, and maintain proper oral health.
Dental implants provide a stable, long-term solution by replacing the root and crown of a missing tooth. They help preserve bone, protect surrounding teeth, and restore full function. If you're missing one or more teeth, come visit us at Williston Dental & Implant: 701-577-1000

This one made us smile today!

The only people I’ll allow inside my mouth. - by Anonymous

I hate going to the dentist. Hate. Yet somehow this place makes having strangers poke around in my mouth… Enjoyable? Staff is awesome. Dentist is fast and gentle. 10/10 would let them invade my personal space again.

If you’re starting clear braces, you might notice a slight change in your speech at first, sometimes even a small lisp. This happens because the aligners create a thin barrier over your teeth, and your tongue needs a little time to adjust. The good news is that it’s temporary! Most people adapt within just a few days to a week. Practicing speaking out loud, reading to yourself, and staying hydrated can help speed things up.
In some cases, clear braces can actually improve speech over time by correcting misaligned teeth that once caused difficulties.

Did you know?
Your toothbrush can’t reach everywhere, but a water flosser can. A water flosser uses a pressurized stream of water to remove food particles, plaque, and bacteria from between teeth and along the gumline. It is less likely to cause irritation or bleeding compared to string floss, making it a good choice for people with sensitive gums or gingivitis. If you're wondering which water flosser is right for you, ask us for a recommendation!

Your gums are the foundation of your smile. Receding gums can lead to sensitivity, decay, and even tooth loss if left untreated, but the good news is that it’s preventable and treatable. Don’t ignore the signs of gum recession — early treatment matters.

About the Dentist

Arie was born and raised in North Dakota. He attended Minot State University for Undergrad, then moved to Omaha where he graduated as one of the top in his class at Creighton University School of Dentistry. After practicing for a year in the small town of Glenwood, Iowa, it was time to move closer to home. With him, he brought his little family-Maryssa and their two sons, Izak and Raife.

Growing up around dentistry, Arie appreciates that it is both an art and science, while being able to provide care to people. Williston was a top choice to put down roots and practice due to the small town charm that he's use to. In his off time, he enjoys bowling, checking out new movies and following football in the fall. Arie takes pride in watching and being a part of his son’s sporting events. He looks forward to spending more time in Williston, while getting to know the community and locals!
