We are BUSY and are looking to expand and grow our lab staff. Join the team and work with Warren, Mike and Denver.

We are looking for an O&P technician who will build and customize medical products for our patients, to provide maximum fit, function, cosmetics and workmanship.
People enter the O & P field from a variety of education and occupational backgrounds. If you enjoy working with your hands, using power tools found in shops and manufacturing environments and want to make a difference in someone's life, being an O & P technician may be right for you.
While the O&P field is a unique field successful candidates can be found with a background in construction, manufacturing, auto mechanics along with similar occupations. We welcome someone looking for a change and will train the right candidate to be a successful O&P technician.

Full Time Position: Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 4:30 Friday 8:00- 12:00
Minimum Qualifications: high school diploma with one to three years of experience in an industrial setting

Core Responsibilities:
- fabricate, maintain, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices according to prescription specifications and under guidance of a CO, Orthotist
- Tests device for freedom of movement, alignment of parts, and stability
-Complete work orders as assigned
- Maintenance of all equipment and tools in the lab
- Maintain, clean and organize work area

Physical Requirements:
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, squat, bend, use hands and fingers. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

At the beginning of 2014, we were fortunate to have Tod Speer, MD, an experienced radiation oncologist and past professor at UW – Madison, join our Willmar Cancer Center family.

Ten years later, Dr. Speer leads the CentraCare – Willmar Cancer Center as our Medical Director. He has supported countless initiatives through the past decade, and he continues to expand advancements in technology for patients close to home.

As a skilled and compassionate radiation oncologist, he uses leading-edge technology and a patient-first approach to address the unique needs of each individual. He works together with medical oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and other specialists to coordinate the most appropriate care.

We’re thankful for the leadership and skilled care Dr. Speer and his team bring to our region and the CentraCare – Willmar Cancer Center. Congratulations on your ten-year anniversary!
