Hello! My name is April Damhof and I am excited to be joining the Lifespark Team as the Community Life Director at The Crossings Senior Living Community in Willmar, MN. My husband and I raised our three children on our farm in rural Willmar, and are now blessed to be in our next phase as grandparents. I have had the privilege to work and volunteer in many different settings throughout my life, and found that I just really love bringing joy to others! The Crossings of Willmar Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our team!

Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently! Our Cook/Chef becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community.

Full-Time (6:30am-2:00pm and 11am-7pm depending on day), with every other weekend rotation.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.

Duties include:
Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
