This little one has a goal to throw rocks in a creek. There’s motivation to do repeated squats and grasping/throwing with the more involved hand. Building strength while enjoying the little things in life that make him happy!!!
Research strongly supports interventions that incorporate real-life tasks and child-generated movements for children with cerebral palsy. Strength training and goal-directed activities have the “green light” as evidenced based treatments.
