This is a notification for the Willow Creek Community.
Effective this week the Six Rivers Clinic system of health care under Mad River Health. This includes The Clinic, The Rehabilitation, and any other related services that will be restricted to their hours due to a recent decision by the Six Rivers organization to cut back services.
The Clinic will reduce hours to Fridays only, as this begins phasing down into the future. As far as the Rehabilitation, presently the information coming in is that there is a complete shutdown of this facility.
With these sudden changes already implemented, we asking all concerned patients to contact the Mad River HR department in Arcata and speak about their concerns over this matter. Along with these phone calls, we are encouraging all interested parties to begin a formal petition. This will help in convincing Mad River to reconsider and bring back the necessary care for so many patients that will be displaced and dependent on the other clinic, now facing an overwhelmed patient load. Most patients have expressed the need to keep and increase the physician hours, at the Six Rivers Clinic.
"Now", is the time to stand up for your healthcare choices.
