Received this from someone we trained earlier this year.......

"On March 18th - about six weeks after our CPR/AED training course - my 56 year old husband suffered a massive MI and collapsed in our garage. I gave him CPR until our local rescue squad arrived. After placement of two stents and almost four days in a medically induced coma, he woke up that Wednesday and came home that Friday. I still cannot believe (even nine months later) that it actually happened, but I'm grateful for the training course (more than I can adequately say), and so happy we will have you back again this year."

At Lafayette's L.J. Alleman Middle School on Monday, a 12-year old boy went into cardiac arrest in the school gym. Trained staff zoomed into action, performing CPR and using a school defibrillator.

This teacher responded SO WELL to her student who was choking on a bottle cap. Scary scene but a great outcome!

A student named Robert liked using his mouth to remove the cap of his water bottle, but in class recently the trick turned into an emergency.
