Lassen Meadows Ranch my private water was opening day today. We had a great time. My client Dave landed all kinds of fish. Leapers, runners and straight bull doggers. What a great place. I still have openings. $125 a rod to fish it, for an additional $150 I will guide you and provide lunch. Call me!!!

I would like to thank everyone for helping me out this last couple of weeks. I had a major reaction to my surgery I had last week and ended back in the hospital for an additional three days. I finally came home yesterday afternoon. I am doing well and hopefully I am on the road for recovery from this surgery. I want to thank everyone that helped out Kirsten and Garrett during this time. It was great to have all the support. I am taking it easy this week and hopefully by next week I will be back to doing most of my activities. Having a major surgery and then having major complications from that surgery is terrible. So hopefully I will be back to normal next week. Thanks again for all your help.
The staff at Glenn Emergency and the Oroville Hospital for all they’re hard work. They took great care of me. They only didn’t take care of me but my whole family, truly great people.
Special thanks go out to my Mom and Dad for keeping watch on me. To Gene Bullard for watching me go through the most painfully part. Awesome thanks to Michael and Trina Legg for coming and seeing me at the hospital when I most needed a kick in the ass. Most of all thanks to Kirsten for being my rock and the big G-Man (Garrett) for picking me out of bed and taking me to the ER, without G this would have been much worst. Thank You – I am very proud of you!

We will be getting in touch with everyone that had trips, schools, workshops and tours to either reschedule or to make sure you’re lock in for the date you want. Kirsten & I want to make sure you folks are taken care of.

I want to tell you how much I liked your article, "Rigging Like a Guide" in the June edition of California Fly Fisher.

It was very informative and well-written.

I found it of such value that I cut it out and filed it for future reference.

The same kudos apply to your recent e-mail, "Your DIY Guide Tip."

With the Hex hatch approaching, it was very timely and offered detailed guidance to help us maximize this grand experience.

I think such duty "above and beyond the call" needs to be recognized.

So an order for your Hex nymph and several other patterns will follow later tonight or tomorrow.

When deciding which other patterns to purchase, I was amazed how many I already had from your destination fly kits.

Now I just need to get on the water and lose some in big fish so I can order order replacements.

Thanks again for being a good guide, both on and off the water.

All I have been doing is tying shad flies. I tie them they go out to you folks. I tie some more and bame there gone. I got more, hot off the vise. 500 of them. Come and get them!!!
