Yesterday at Thunderhill Raceway, SideTrax EMS was honored to support a special memorial event for Suzie Smith, the nurse tragically killed in the recent REACH helicopter crash. Thunderhill opened the track so her husband could take their new Cobra out for a few laps—something they had hoped to do together. A reachairmedical helicopter also arrived and followed from above, creating a powerful tribute. We were grateful to help ensure the day ran safely as the community came together to honor Suzie’s memory.

Today marks another year since the Camp Fire devastated Paradise. Our owner’s home was among those lost, and the ring camera footage we’re sharing shows how quickly everything changed. We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who risked everything that day. SideTrax stands with Butte County and the brave responders who answered the call.

As you prepare to take the little ghouls and goblins out for trick or treating this week, remember the following safety tips:
Map the neighborhood you will be trick or treating on the Megan’s Law S*x Offender website and avoid homes registered on this list.

Wear reflective clothing and carry flashlights or glow sticks.

Cross the street at corners and watch for traffic.

Out driving, slow down and look for little pedestrians.

Check all candy before eating. Throw out any loose or unwrapped candy or food. Do Not accept homemade treats unless you know and trust the person who prepared and served it.
