Thanksgiving is the biggest cooking day of the year, which means it’s extra important to stay fire safe.

Keep everyone safe in the kitchen: stay by your pan, stay in the kitchen, and keep an eye on your food while it’s cooking. Most Thanksgiving fires start when cooking is left unattended, a little attention makes all the difference.

Widespread showers and storms are expected Sunday into Monday. Most likely rain totals are 1 to 3 inches, although locally higher amounts are possible. Uncertainty remains on what areas could see the heaviest rainfall or any potential flooding. Stay weather aware early next week, especially if you are in a flood prone area!
