She received her PhD in Philosophy from Rush University in 1990, where she was a John and Helen Kellog Scholar. She has over forty years of clinical and academic experience as a nurse. She has served as a Dean of Nursing, healthcare consultant, lecturer, author, and nurse practitioner. With her team of knowledgeable nurse experts, Dr. Martin brings her expertise nationwide to serve the needs of nursing and clinical education programs. She has worked with many clients, including nursing programs with the University of Illinois and the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
