Care In The Home

Care In The Home Providing Caregivers - hourly and Live-in, Skilled Nursing, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therap

What seniors desire most is to remain independent in their own home and community. Care in the Home has four types of service that make this goal a reality:

Personal Caregiver Service – Offers bathing, safe transfers, ambulation assist, medication reminders, escorts, meal preparation, homemaking and other non-medical help by a qualified certified nursing assistant or home health aide. Skilled Nursing & Social Work – Home health service offers registered nurses to manage medications, wound care and other rehabilitative medical needs as well as social work support, covered by Medicare and private insurances with a physician’s order. Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy – Offers rehabilitative therapy in the home using state-of-the-art modalities and equipment usually only offered in outpatient therapy settings, covered by Medicare and private insurances with a physician’s order. Medical Home Visits – Offers an advanced nurse practitioner who makes house calls under the direction of the patient’s primary care physician to help manage routine care and chronic conditions when a patient has a hard time making it to their doctor’s office, covered by Medicare and private insurances

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

At Care in the Home, we are proud to stand with the fighters, celebrate the survivors, support the caregivers, and honor the loved ones we've lost to breast cancer. 💗

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in their lifetime, and while the journey can be overwhelming, no one should face it alone. Our mission is to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care to those navigating the physical, emotional, and mental toll of illness and recovery.

Whether it’s helping with daily tasks, providing post-surgery support, or simply being a listening ear—we're here to help make life at home safer, more comfortable, and filled with dignity.

💬 This month, let’s talk more openly about:

Early detection and regular screenings

The emotional toll of a diagnosis

The importance of a support system

The role caregivers play in healing and hope

Join us in wearing PINK this month to raise awareness, spark conversations, and show support for the incredible strength of the breast cancer community.

Because at Care in the Home, care goes beyond treatment—it’s about connection, compassion, and presence. 🏡💕

📍 If you or a loved one needs support at home, we’re here to help.

🧠💜 World Alzheimer’s Day was yesterday... but Alzheimer’s doesn’t stop after a single day—and neither should our awareness.

Alzheimer’s disease impacts millions around the world—not just those diagnosed, but also the families, friends, and caregivers walking the journey with them. It’s more than memory loss. It’s a daily battle with identity, communication, and connection.

While September 21st helps shine a spotlight, Alzheimer’s is something we need to keep talking about all year long.

Let’s raise awareness.
Let’s share knowledge.
Let’s support caregivers.
Let’s advocate for more research, better resources, and real compassion.

At Care in the Home, our caregivers are specially trained to support individuals living with Alzheimer’s. We understand that this disease is not a one-size-fits-all condition. Every person is unique—and so is their care. 💜

To those living with Alzheimer’s and the loved ones by their side: you are not alone. Your strength matters. Your story matters.

Let’s continue the conversation—today, tomorrow, and every day.

This Labor Day, we celebrate the strength, compassion, and dedication of workers in every corner of our communities. 💪💙
At Care in the Home, we’re especially proud to honor caregivers — those who bring comfort, dignity, and peace of mind to families every single day. But today, we also lift up the contributions of all workers — from healthcare to hospitality, from education to engineering, from retail to road work — every job matters, and every worker deserves our thanks.
Labor Day is a reminder that the world moves because people show up — with skill, with purpose, and with heart. Your effort, whether visible or behind the scenes, makes life better for everyone.
To our caregivers, and to workers everywhere: thank you for your labor, your love, and your unwavering commitment to care and community.
Wishing everyone a safe and restful Labor Day. ❤️

🧠 with Care in the Home 💙

Let’s talk about something that’s changing the way we care for people at home:

Goal-Oriented Care 💡

This approach focuses on what matters most to each individual — not just managing conditions, but helping people live fuller, healthier lives on their own terms.

With Goal-Oriented Care, we aim to:

✅ Improve functional ability in daily life
✅ Promote emotional and physical well-being
✅ Reduce hospital readmissions by providing proactive, personalized support

It’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s care with a purpose — tailored to personal goals, whether that means walking without assistance, managing medication independently, or simply staying safe and happy at home. 🏡

At Care in the Home, we believe that the best care empowers people to thrive — right where they feel most comfortable.

✨ Because better goals lead to better outcomes.

🌍💙 Celebrating Our Seniors | World Senior Citizen Day 💙🌍

At Care in the Home, today holds special meaning as we join the world in honoring the incredible lives and legacies of our senior citizens.

World Senior Citizen Day is a time to recognize the immeasurable value older adults bring to our families, communities, and society as a whole. Their wisdom, resilience, and life experiences continue to guide and inspire us every day.

As caregivers, companions, and advocates, we are deeply committed to supporting seniors in living with dignity, independence, and joy — in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Let’s use this day to show gratitude, listen to their stories, and cherish the moments we share. Our seniors deserve not only our respect, but also our ongoing care and attention — today and every day.

To all the seniors we serve and love — thank you. 💐

Care in the Home is care that feels like family. ❤️

Home care isn’t just about physical recovery — it’s about emotional healing too.

Many seniors face feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression, especially after hospitalization or major life changes. But being cared for at home — in a familiar, comforting environment — can make a big difference.

🏡 When patients receive care in their own homes, they often feel more in control, more connected, and less isolated.

Home care supports independence, dignity, and emotional well-being — which are just as important as managing medical needs.

✨ A calm mind leads to a healthier body.

Let’s keep our loved ones safe, supported, and surrounded by love — right where they feel most at peace: home.
