🚫 It’s National Prevention Week! 🚫
May 11–17 is SAMHSA’s National Prevention Week, and at Coastal Horizons, we’re proud to take this time to raise awareness about preventing substance misuse and promoting safer, healthier communities.

🔍 Today’s Focus: Underage Drinking, Ma*****na, and To***co Use
Early use of alcohol, to***co, or ma*****na increases the risk of addiction and long-term health issues. Prevention starts with education, open conversations, and support.

We are proud to partner with Nir Family YMCA for a second year to provide opportunities for Wilmington area youth.

The YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina and Coastal Horizons will be hosting 3 mental illness workshops and will provide other resources to help with mental health.

What began as a committee to address the drug crisis has grown into a thriving nonprofit with 704 dedicated employees.
