Cypress Pointe Tackles the Critical Blood Shortage!

Red Cross called and Cypress Responded.

Between July 30th and August 1st Cypress Pointe had 21 people register to donate Whole Blood, Platelets and Power Red to the Red Cross.

Our team makes it a point to ensure we give back to the community and support healthcare across the continuum!

Happy Saturday!

This week we had a special guest come and visit our facility; all he brought was his guitar and heart full of songs! In this video you'll see Carla, one of our residents who LOVES to sing, request the beautiful hymn "How Great Thou Art." It was a touching moment that truly moved everyone in the room. Music has a beautiful way of bringing everyone together and this visit did just that!

Happy Family Friday!

This week our residents had an absolute blast at our recent Tie-Dye Activity! We turned up the fun with a playlist of Top Hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Bringing back memories and even a few dance moves! They sipped on some delicious mocktails, while designing their very own colorful tote bags. The results of the tote bags were just as awesome and unique as the residents that designed them!

Happy Family Friday!

Our residents LOVE chair yoga/chair exercise. One of our residents who join us for chair yoga, used to teach yoga! He loves to give tips and tricks on how to better stretch the body. Along with teaching deep breathing exercises! We of course do our exercises to Zen music to really relax the body AND the mind. It's a great way to start the day!
